"Zimmer Equestrian"
New Name. New Goals.
Who We Are
I'm Breann Zimmer, a Pleasanton native who recently moved to Gibbon. If the furry creature on the right was the first to draw your attention, that's a safe sign you'll fit right in at the barn here. That's my dog, Winston, who is president of the greeting committee! (You'll meet his feline sidekick, Larry, when you get here!).
How We Got Here
I own and operate Zimmer Equestrian, recently rebranded from Little Bit Horse Lessons in Gibbon, NE. When starting Little Bit Horse Lessons in 2016, I never dreamt I would keep the same students year after year. Yet, here I am, watching them grow up so fast! And as my students are maturing, I find my business doing the same.
I started by traveling to a public arena, and now I train at a private arena. I started with ranch horses, and purchased my first show horse in 2022. I started by creating my own goals for students, and now I own curriculum with pre-created goals. I started by teaching anything and everything related to horses, and now I've narrowed to western pleasure, horsemanship, and showmanship.

All this said, "Little Bit Horse Lessons" gave off a cute beginner vibe, and the business has grown significantly since then. While I still invite all ages to the barn, the business name no longer reflected what we've grown into; from cute and entry level to encouraging and professional. Without further ado, I present "Zimmer Equestrian" - an inviting place for horse enthusiasts to begin competing at local open and 4H shows.

My Background
I grew up on a farm North of Pleasanton. This is where my fondness of horses began. My eyes always lit up for animals as a little girl, but horses were always the ones to stand out to me. When I was eight years old, Dad gifted the family our first horse, Sassey. This horse not only taught me patience and discipline, but revealed my personal strengths and weaknesses. I truly believe horses guide people through the process of self-awareness, and my goal as an instructor is to nurture this process as my students live this journey.
After learning more about this program, I hope you agree this barn is the perfect place for you or a loved one to learn in. I also hope you decide to be part of this tight knit community at Zimmer Equestrian.
